Our Story

The Luke and Brittany edit
They may call Chicago the second city, but Pittsburgh is the town that doesn't quit.
While other industrial boomtowns like Flint, Michigan, or Trenton, New Jersey, never fully recovered from the downturn of manufacturing and industrial jobs, Pittsburgh weathered the storm and stands strong today.
A plethora of formerly dormant buildings like the Heinz Factory, or St. John the Baptist church, have been revamped and repurposed for alternate means than their original intended purpose, so there's no reason to think that new life can't be breathed into similarly distressed homes.
Buying a home is a daunting task on its own, regardless of one that could be described as a:Handyman specials, Fixer-uppers, or Diamonds in the rough. Sometimes, really rough. But that's what our goal is, and Graceful Homes is eager to join in on the example Pittsburghers have set, and and is proud to extend its renaissance into the residential aspect.
Let's get to work...

Born in Pittsburgh but raised in NJ, Luke returned to the ‘Burgh to attend and eventually
graduate from Duquesne University. He would work as a Realtor in the Garden State
before he, his wife, Brittany, and their two daughters would trade pizza for perogies and relocate
to the Steel City, and with Graceful Homes, they would take a more “graceful” approach
to real estate.

Brittany is also a graduate from Duquesne University. She's held multiple corporate finance roles across several fortune 500 companies. Her love for the comforts of home and fondness for excel spreadsheets were a natural fit for real-estate development.
